Chennaiyin FC owner and Bollywood Superstar Abhishek Bachchan with Premier League Executive Chairman Richard Scudamore with the Premier League trophy at The Football Movement hosted by Department of International Trade, India On Track in partnership with Premier League & Star Sports and in association with Hero.

Speaking at the Day 1 of two-day event, Abhishek Bachchan said, “Initiatives like The Football Movement are a great learning ground for all the parties involved. Getting Premier League, which is the gold standard when it comes to football, to share their wealth of knowledge and such exchange of ideas is great. And some day there is a hope for exchange of players too and that is going to be the key.”

The second edition of The Football Movement provides delegates the best possible platform to network & explore potential business opportunities in India’s burgeoning football sector. The conference theme focuses on the broader aspects of football in India, with a view to assessing the current landscape in greater detail, as well as marking the road ahead for the sport in the country.
