Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma today said that strict action would be taken against the management or owner of the private school, in which a seven year student was murdered on Friday. After visiting family of the victim child, he did not ruled out possibility of CBI or any other probe into the case. Mr Sharma said that the initial inquiry suggested that school has not fulfilled it’s responsibility. Earlier the school principal has been suspended. The accused conductor was sent on three days police remand by Guru gram court on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the protestors set on fire the liquor shop near the private school in Bhondsi at Gurugram. Police force lathi charged protestors, in which some media-persons and the member of Parliament Pappu Yadav got minor injuries. The protestors want the police to take action against the school.
Yesterday evening Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had ordered a review and strengthening of security arrangements in schools across the state following the outrage over the death. Additional Chief Secretary (education) has been asked to review the arrangements, including security, installation of CCTVs and facilities being provided in all the schools to prevent recurrence of such incidents. CM had also said that if all the facts of the case would not come to fore, the CBi inquiry could be marked. He said that those found guilty would not be spared.
