China has said it will send a top negotiator to the United States to resume trade talks.
New trade talks between China and the US set to take place later this month. China’s Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen will lead a delegation to the US and meet US Under Secretary of Treasury for International Affairs David Malpass.
The commerce ministry said in a statement today that Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen, the deputy representative on international trade negotiations, will meet with a senior US treasury official, David Malpass at the invitation of the United States.
The ministry said, China welcomes dialogue and communication on the basis of reciprocity, equality and integrity.
