Event : Arth-Art for Earth-The Excavated Museum of Clay by Manav Gupta
This exhibition inaugurated on World Environment Day in June continues at IGNCA.

The art exhibits explore nature as a museum laboratory of art, espousing sustainable development by excavating the philosophies of ancient civilizations, like Indian vedic practices, on environment. The artist converts quintessential rural Indian clay pottery into avant garde contemporary installations that embrace nature through the five elements.

Event : Book Launch of “Laxminama”
Co-authored by Anshuman Tiwari and Anindya Sengupta,“Laxminama” is an account of how the country’s open market and its liberal religious outlook have nurtured each other throughout the centuries.

Anshuman Tiwari is the editor of India Today Hindi, India’s most-read weekly news magazine and Anindya Sengupta studied History at President College, Calcutta.

Shri Ram Bahadur Rai, President of Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts will be the Chief Guest.

Event : Book Launch-cum-Book Reading Session
Under the Outreach initiative, ‘The IGNCA Book Circle’, Kala Nidhi Reference Library organises a Book Reading Session every month.

For the month of November, 2018, IGNCA will hold a book reading session on “ The Politics of Economics’’ by Shri Prashant Singh. He is the Chief Manager in State Bank of India.

The Author of the book has investigated and examined all these tall claims of benevolent nature of capitalism in depth and has presented his conclusion before us in the form of this book.

Shri K.N. Govindacharya, RSS Ideologue will be the Chief Guest.

The film deals with the misconceptions, prejudices and myths of the emotions of disabled people. The narrative follows the journey of such people as they try to claim their rights as individuals.
