Iran: Suicide bomber was Pakistani

Iranian elite force, Revolutionary Guards, has said that the suicide bomber who carried out last week’s attack that killed 27 its members was a Pakistani national. Senior commander for the force, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said, the suicide bomber was named Hafez Mohammad Ali and was from Pakistan.

Apart from the suicide bomber, one of the suspected accomplices was also Pakistani, he said. A Pakistan based terror group claimed responsibility for the attack.


IRGC Ground Force announced that the suicide bomber of #AlQaeda‘s Jaysh ul-Adl who carried-out the Khash–Zahedan suicide bombing on 13 February was #Pakistan national. Also, the Jaysh ul-Adl terrorists who were arrested by the Police in SE #Iran yesterday are Pakistani National
