Indonesia date with Election

Indonesia with 190 million voters to head to the polls on Wednesday to elect the president of the world’s most populous Muslim-majority nation.

Joko Widodo set to win Indonesia’s presidential election with around 55% of the vote count, his old rival Former General Prabowo Subianto lost 5 yrs ago too.. The official results by the election commission are not expected until May 22.

Indonesia presidential race in a day is democracy in Muslim majority nation embattled between incumbent Joko Widodo taking on ex-general Prabowo Subianto.

Two leaders to their political moves in line with the increased prominence of conservative Islam in the country.

Mr Widodo, looking to win another five-year term, is seen as the frontrunner. Moderate Muslim with balance of tolerance to its core.
