The 28th World Book Fair focuses on Mahatma Gandhi as a Writer
Book entitled “Where Kindness Spoke” written by Ms. Shivani Arora was released by Mrs. Kiran Bedi, Lt. Governor, Puducherry and Shri Ghai, CMD, Sterling Publishing House at World Book Fair, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 4th January, 2020 in presence of Chief of Diamond Publisher to print the Hindi Edition of the book.
Ms. Shivani, the author has declared that the 50 percent of the amount from the sale of the book will go to the India Vision Foundation, an Non profit organization which is working specially in the field of education and grooming of underprivileged children.
Team ” India Vision Foundation”, were present in its strength giving book launch glittering look.
Media persons including activists of social media combined participated in question answer session.
Mrs. Kiran Bedi told that the book has information about Administrative impetus and training material for the improvement in administration. She said that there is scope in improvement with science, technology, practice though the base of the work is same.
Ms. Shivani, the author, felicitated the publisher Shri Ghai and the Lt. Governor Puducherry Mrs Kiran Bedi . Then she spoke about the contents of the book and how will they be helpful to the readers. The editor of the book, Shri Sanjeev was felicitated by Mrs. Bedi. She said that 90 percent of the readers of her books are hindi readers so they are soon to make available in Hindi.
In the question and suggestion round Mrs. Bedi told that the public servants and bureaucrats should keep free cross access or Open House time for listening to the grievances of the public for their solutions.
Questions related to accountability of elected representatives /bureaucrats, national integration and cleanliness were asked which were responded by the Lt. Governor Mr Kiran Bedi. She spoke about the importance of languages for national integration. The price of the book is Rs. 200/-.
CSIR-NISCAIR is participating in World Book Fair 2020 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from January 04-12 at Stall No. 172 in Hall 11.
