Finland Corona

The Government has announced that there is a state of emergency in the country as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. The aim is to protect the population and to safeguard the functioning of society and the economy.On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that COVID-19 can now be characterised as a pandemic.In Finland, municipalities, hospital districts, regional state administrative agencies and the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, among others, have received more detailed instructions for preparedness. Information points have been opened at passenger ports and commercial airports to advice travellers arriving in Finland.

Government, in cooperation with the President of the Republic, declares a state of emergency in Finland over coronavirus outbreak .
