An easing of the Swedish guidelines on the level of protective gear that should be worn when working with coronavirus patients is causing concern among the country’s healthcare professionals.
The updated Public Health Agency guidelines now say employers should decide what kind of protective gear is necessary according to the situation. But healthcare staff are worried that will lead to a lowering of standards in an unpredictable environment.
