Coronavirus downturn hits Stockholm’s entertainment island Djurgården hard

Packed with museums, galleries and even an amusement park, the warm weather usually brings a surge of visitors to Stockholm’s Djurgården island, where locals and tourists alike go to enjoy its number of attractions.
But the Coronavirus pandemic means international tourists are staying at home, locals are limiting their movement, and a ban on gatherings of over 50 people complicates matters further for businesses.
Radio Sweden visited two of the island’s oldest entertainment institutions, Gröna Lund and Skansen, to find out how the difficult situation has impacted their operations.
