Delhi CM says govt tries its best to provide treatment to all Corona patients
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that for everyone’s safety, promotion of social distancing and usage of masks has to be a people’s movement, just like the odd-even scheme. Addressing a digital press conference today, Mr Kejriwal said, of the 31 thousand COVID-19 cases reported in Delhi, 18 thousand are active. He said, Delhi Government has a big challenge ahead as data shows that COVID-19 cases will significantly increase in the National Capital in coming days.
On Lieutenant Governor over-ruling Delhi Cabinet’s decision of reserving hospitals for residents, Mr Kejriwal said, LG’s directives will be implemented in letter and spirit. He said, this is not the time for disagreements or arguments. The Chief Minister said, Delhi Government will try its best to make arrangements to provide treatment to all. He said, everyone has to fight COVID-19 together.
