Montenegro elections latest results (75%):

Ruling parties: 34.7% + 4.3% + 3% = 41.9%

Opposition parties: 33% + 12.5% + 5.5% = 51%

At this point, it is mathematically impossible for Milo Đukanović, Europe’s longest standing dictator, to win. Democracy has come to Montenegro.

Voters in Montenegro on Sunday cast ballots in a tense election pro-Western party against an opposition ties Serbia and Russia.

PM Dusko Markovic said state will deal with any attempts to affect this election.

Is there chance to unseat the Democratic Party of Socialists that has been in power for 30 years.

However news emanating Montenegro’s pro-Serb and Russian opposition groups claimed victory against the ruling pro-Western party in a tense parliamentary election that could see a change in the course of the small Balkan state.
