Belarus detain protesters

Hundreds of pro-democracy protestors beaten and arrested by the Lukashenko dictatorship. The Telegram channel “Lists of arrested” reports that at least 1050 people were arrested today during a brutal crackdown.

Thousand people were detained in Minsk as protests continued for the 14th Sunday in a row.

Opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is hoping for support from Joe Biden’s future administration in the United States.

Belarusian police clashed with demonstrators who were demanding the resignation of the country’s authoritarian leader on Sunday, almost three months to the day since a disputed election earned President Alexander Lukashenko a sixth term.
