Thai protesters letter to King

Protesters dropping their letters to the king.

Buddhist Monks and novices join the protest, asking for the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand to be reformed, saying it is dictatorial.

Thai police use water cannon on Bangkok pro-democracy protesters as they tried to deliver letters about their political grievances to the country’s king.

The police asks the demonstrators to disperse, while moving the post boxes to behind the police front line. The protest was called off since 9 pm but there are some protesters still at the site.

After negotiating with the police, anti-establishment protesters in announced that the resignation of PM Prayut Chan-o-cha, constitutional amendments and reforms of the Monarchy are the “utmost compromise”, then the protesters dispersed at around 9pm
