Alibuag Sessions Court has allowed police to question Arnab Goswami for three hours daily in Taloja prison in connection with Anvay Naik abetment to suicide case.
Goswami on Monday morning filed a bail application in the Alibaug sessions court, his lawyer Gaurav Parkar said.
The sessions court also heard the revision application filed by the Alibaug police challenging a November 4 order of a magistrate’s court denying them custody of Goswami and the two other accused in the case and remanding the three in judicial custody.

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has spoken to state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh over the phone to convey his concern over the security and health ofRepublic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, who was arrested last week in connection with an abetment to suicide case.
The governor’s office in a statement on Monday said Koshyari also asked the state Home minister to allow Goswami’s family to see him and speak to him.
The governor had earlier conveyed to Deshmukh his concern over the manner in which Goswami was arrested, the statement said.

Bombay High Court has refused to grant interim bail to Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami. The court has asked him to approach a lower court to seek bail. A lower court will now decide his appeal for bail within 4 days.
Goswami, arrested in connection with the alleged suicide of an interior designer, had filed a bail application today before the sessions court at Alibaug in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. The sessions court is currently also hearing a revision application filed by the Alibaug police challenging a November 4 order of the magistrates court denying them custody of Goswami and two other accused in the case and remanding the three in judicial custody.
Goswami and two others – Feroze Shaikh and Nitish Sarda – were arrested by Alibaug police on November 4 in connection with the suicide of architect-interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother in 2018 over alleged non-payment of dues by companies of the accused.
After his arrest from his residence in Mumbai, Goswami was taken to Alibaug, where the Chief Judicial Magistrate refused to remand him in police custody. The magistrate’s court remanded Goswami and the two others in judicial custody till November 18.
