Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani tests positive
US President Donald Trump says his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Trump tweeted the news on Sunday, referring to “the China Virus,” and wished him a speedy recovery.
Giuliani has not commented on his condition.
The 76-year-old former mayor of New York City is playing a leading role in Trump’s effort to challenge the results of the presidential election.
Giuliani has traveled extensively in recent days to push Trump’s claims of election fraud. He attended a hearing at the Georgia state senate last week.
Courts have rejected many of the Trump team’s election lawsuits, citing a lack of evidence. But the President tweeted that he will continue the legal battle.
