A thick layer of fog engulfs the national capital;

Moderate fog observed in isolated pockets in Uttrakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura today morning: India Meteorological Department (IMD)

Delhi’s air quality improves to ‘very poor’ category, with overall AQI standing at 334, as per System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting & Research (SAFAR)

Fog observed at (0530 hours IST of today): Dense to very dense fog observed in isolated pockets over Punjab; dense fog in isolated pockets in West Utter Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya; moderate fog observed in isolated pockets in Uttrakhand, East Utter Pradesh, Bihar,Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
