A ban on New Year celebrations in hotels and restrictions imposed on the beach promenade due to COVID-19, has not deterred a large number of domestic tourists from travelling to Puducherry to celebrate New Year’s.
The govt has not taken any official decision to impose night curfew in the coastal state, says Goa CM Pramod Sawant. Earlier today, state Health Minister Vishwajit Rane stated that the state health dept had moved a file before the govt to consider imposing night curfew.
