Robert Vadra Income Tax Qs

Robert Vadra hails from Moradabad notable business family. He had been in South Delhi business of semi precious stones, supply to exporters and retailers before marrying Priyanka Gandhi. Income Tax Department sleuths on Monday started recording the statement of #RobertVadra in connection with a benami properties case.

RobertVadra is facing investigations in connection with some of his properties in London, and his land deals in Bikaner, Gurugram, Faridabad big chunk of farm lands.

A team of #IncomeTax department sleuths on Tuesday arrived at the residence of #Congress interim chief #SoniaGandhi’s son-in-law #RobertVadra residence Sukhdev Vihar in #NewDelhi for the second consecutive day to record his statement in connection with ‘benami’ properties case.

Robert Vadra to record his statement in connection with its probe against him under the benami assets law, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi has said, “I don’t have to hide anything”.

Further I don’t have to hide anything. Whatever they will ask, we will reply,” Robert Vadra said hours after his statement was recorded.

“We are here to cooperate. We have answered everything. It was nothing related to Benami property. Justice and truth will prevail. I have nothing to hide and worry. I will always cooperate,” Vadra added.

Earlier Robert was called in office but with Covid restraints, Officials of Income Tax department recorded Robert Vadra’s statement in connection with a benami property case at his Delhi’s residence.

The department has been probing Vadra on charges of alleged possession of some undisclosed assets in the United Kingdom (UK). The Enforcement Directorate (ED) too is probing these charges against him under the anti-money laundering law.

While Vadra had denied any wrongdoing in the past, the Congress party had called the action political vendetta.
