Pakyong airport in Sikkim finally operational from today with the landing of a SpiceJet flight from New Delhi.
With special procedures & additional safety aspects in place, operations resume from Pakyong airport on 23 Jan. @flyspicejet recommences Delhi-Pakyong-Delhiflight under RCS-UDAN. This will fulfil the aspirations of people of Sikkim & will provide impetus to local economy. HSPuri
First ever Delhi-Pakyong direct flight arrived at Pakyong Airport. 57 passengers travelled from Delhi, the same flight to take 21 travellers to the national capital from here. It will boost tourism in the town: Kapil Meena, Addl Secy of Tourism, Govt of Sikkim (23.1.20)
