Abuja Plane Crash

Nigerian Air Force on Sunday said seven personnel onboard a Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft died when the jet crashed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

NAF 201 B350 aircraft en route to Minna in Niger State crashed close to the runway of the airport after reporting engine failure.

The plane was on the way to Minna, in the northern state of Niger to try to rescue 42 people who had been kidnapped.
