Kerala Assembly Election: PM Modi addresses rally at Konni
Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today came down heavily on the ruling LDF and opposition UDF in Kerala, saying that people of Kerala are tired of both the Fronts and they want the development agenda of NDA.
Reiterating the development concept for inclusive growth, the Prime Minister said, Kerala’s professional community in particular, reposes faith in NDA today. Mr. Modi was addressing a huge poll rally at Konni in Pathanamthitta, on the second leg of his campaign for NDA in poll-bound Kerala.
The Prime Minister accused the State Government of misleading the people with regard to various development schemes that are actually originated by the Centre. Referring to Sabarimala issue, Mr. Modi said, the LDF Government undermined the cultural heritage of Kerala and chose to deal with believers using lathi.
BJP leader Union Minister V. Muraleedharan, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Ashwanth Narayan, BDJS State President Thushar Vellappally were among those present at the poll rally held in Konni constituency where the State BJP President K. Surendran is set to face a triangular contest.
