India’s cumulative vaccination coverage nears 8 crore mark
India’s cumulative vaccination coverage is nearing the 8 crore mark. Over 7 crore 91 lakh five thousand doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far. The Union Health Ministry has said that more than 16 lakh 38 thousand doses were given to the beneficiaries in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a total number of one lakh 3 thousand 558 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the cumulative positive cases to over one crore 25 lakh. The Health Ministry said, 478 deaths have also been reported during the last 24 hour taking the toll to one lakh 65 thousand 101 across the country.
The Ministry said the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate is at 92.80 per cent.
