Campaigning for sixth phase of assembly elections in West Bengal ends yesterday evening
The campaigning for the sixth phase of assembly elections in West Bengal ended at 6.30 pm yesterday. 43 assembly constituencies will go to polls in this phase on Thursday. To contain the rising cases of Covid-19 in the state, the Election Commission has extended the silence period from 48 hours to 72 hours in each of the remaining three phases of the assembly polls. For the sixth phase, polling will be held between 7 am and 6.30 pm at 14,480 polling stations.
