EU Travel Ease

EU Commission recommends to ease travel restrictions on fully vaccinated tourists.Israel expected to be on list of countries to be granted unlimited travel to EU

We are proposing that EU countries ease the current restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU to take into account the progress of vaccination campaigns and developments in the epidemiological situation worldwide.EU commission.

The European Union Commission has recommended to ease restrictions on non-essential travel from overseas for those who received the last dose of an EU-approved vaccine.

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen tweeted that it was time to revive EU tourism industry and for cross-border friendships to rekindle safely.

The EU currently only allows non-essential travel from seven countries. Discussions on the plans will begin today.

The EU has already announced plans for a digital certificate, which would cover anyone who is either vaccinated against Covid-19, has a negative test or has recently recovered.
